The Chelsea Theatre is a community centre in the heart of the World’s End Estate in London.
Chelsea Theatre is a studio theatre located on the Kings Road in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London. It presents, commissions, and produces material and works with the local community.
The Challenge
Chelsea Theatre are looking to take the next step in the evolution of their online presence. This proposal covers the deployment of a new site on a CMS solution. By Improving the design of your site to ensure the website reflects a professional but highly creative and community based feel will increase credibility so that site visitors, be they via search engine or referral, will have more confidence in picking up the phone or making an enquiry. We have recommended building your site on Wordpress based on cost and user friendliness.
The Tomia Solution
Imagery, structure and typography are the foundations of a great designed website. It is essential that the site reflects Chelsea Theatre brand in both tone and quality. It will be through the careful design of both visual and site structure that we ensure the best user experience and maximise the site’s ability for conversions. We had envisioned to the website to have ease of access to book in for events for activities, theatre bookings and room hiring.
Outcome
With the pandemic that has happened in 2020, it was vital that the community was able to continue to join for community events. Doing so we have created virtual venue activities for the users to join via Zoom calls with the ability for users to sort the types of activities also by selecting by weekly and daily as part of phase 1 of the build. We had developed a website that users could join as part of the Virtual Venue, see the latest online events, news and blogs. With the ability to enquire for future openings for room hire, theatre along with details for the Cafe & Bar.
“The website looks amazing and works wonderfully, thank you so much Tomia Digital”
